How learning should be pursued.
The Master said to Tsze-hsiâ, "Do you be a scholar after the style of the superior man, and not after that of the mean man."

Legge VI.11.

The Master said to Tzu-hsia, 'Be a gentleman ju , not a petty ju.'

Lau [6:13]

Le Maître dit à Tzeu hia : « Sois un lettré honorable, et non un lettré de peu. »

Couvreur VI.11.

13. Nabi berkata kepada Zi-xia, "Jadilah engkau seorang umat Ru yang bersifat Junzi, janganlah menjadi umat Ru yang rendah budi".
