Lunyu VII. 37. (187)

Contrast in their feelings between the Chün-tsze and the mean man.
The Master said, "The superior man is satisfied and composed; the mean man is always full of distress."

Legge VII.36.

The Master said, 'The gentleman is easy of mind, while the small man is always full of anxiety.'

Lau [7:37]

Le Maître dit : « Le sage est calme et serein. L'homme de peu est toujours accablé de soucis. »

Couvreur VII.36.

37. Nabi bersabda, "Seorang Junzi berhati longgar dan lapang ; seorang rendah budi berhati sempit dan berbelit-belit."
