The Master discusses with his disciples and unveil his preoccupations with society. Tr. Legge (en), Lau (en) and Couvreur (fr).

Lunyu VII. 30. (180)

Virtue is not far to seek.
The Master said, "Is virtue a thing remote? I wish to be virtuous, and lo! virtue is at hand."

Legge VII.29.

The Master said, 'Is benevolence really far away? No sooner do I desire it than it is here.'

Lau [7:30]

(Tchou Hsi)

Couvreur VII.29.

30. Nabi bersabda, "Jauhkah peri Cinta Kasih ? Kalau Aku inginkan Cinta Kasih, Cinta Kasih itu sudah besertaKu."
