The subjects on which the Master did not talk, were – extraordinary things, feats of strength, disorder, and spiritual beings.

Le Maître ne parlait pas des choses extraordinaires, ni des actes de violence, ni des troubles, ni des esprits. Parler des choses extraordinaires, c'est exciter les hommes à ne pas suivre les règles ordinaires ; parler des actes d'audace et de violence, c'est affaiblir dans les hommes les sentiments de douceur ; parler de résistance aux lois ou à l'autorité, c'est porter les hommes à violer la justice ; parler des esprits, c'est brouiller les idées de ceux qui écoutent.
