Sunzi VII. 14.

In raiding and plundering be like fire,1 is immovability like a mountain.2

1. Cf. SHIH CHING, IV. 3. iv. 6: "Fierce as a blazing fire which no man can check."
2. That is, when holding a position from which the enemy is trying to dislodge you, or perhaps, as Tu Yu says, when he is trying to entice you into a trap.

Giles VII.18.

S'il faut être ferme dans votre poste, soyez-y immobile comme une montagne ; s'il faut sortir pour aller au pillage, ayez l'activité du feu.
