蘭葉春葳蕤, 桂華秋皎潔;
Tender orchid-leaves in spring
And cinnamon- blossoms bright in autumn
Are as self- contained as life is,
Which conforms them to the seasons.
Yet why will you think that a forest-hermit,
Allured by sweet winds and contented with beauty,
Would no more ask to-be transplanted
THan Would any other natural flower?

桂花 (桂華) according to the 汉语大词典 is 木樨, Osmanthus fragrans from the family of Oleaceae (olive tree).
This sites dictionary and translation uses "cinnamonum cassia" which should actually be cinnamomum cassia 肉桂 (see. 21st century c.e. dictionary)
