The difficulty of attaining to the not wishing to do to others as we wish them not to do to us.
Tsze-kung said, "What I do not wish men to do to me, I also wish not to do to men." The Master said, "Ts'ze, you have not attained to that."
Legge V.11.
Tzu-kung said, 'While I do not wish others to impose on me, I also wish not to impose on others.'
The Master said, 'Ssu, that is quite beyond you.'

Tzeu koung dit : « Ce que je ne veux pas que les autres me fassent, je désire ne pas le faire aux autres. » Le Maître répondit : « Seu, tu n'as pas encore atteint cette perfection. »
