Daxue XI. 7.
If he make the root his secondary object, and the result his primary, he will only wrangle with his people, and teach them rapine.
Legge X. 8.
轻视道德，重视财富，这是教导人民互相争夺。
白话翻译
Traiter légèrement la base fondamentale ou le principe rationnel et moral, et faire beaucoup de cas de l'accessoire ou des richesses, c'est pervertir les sentiments du peuple et l'exciter par l'exemple au vol et aux rapines.
Pauthier X. 7.
Qu'il néglige la racine et se contente seulement des fruits et le prince n'enseignera que la discorde et vol au peuple.
